Managing Director: Alan Mewett
Alan is the Managing Director of Investassure, which he set up in early 2000 after being at Liberty Life for 7 years. He was one of the first to become accredited as a Financial Services Provider. He is a member of The Association of Professional Financial Planner as well as a member of The Insurance Brokers Council. Alan studies the products offered by all assurance companies by evaluating all the technical facts.
Alan is an expert in the following areas of financial planning:
- Provident Funds (small to medium sized businesses)
- Business Assurance (buy and sell agreements / key man agreements /deferred compensation)
- The ability to accurately assess and evaluate personal portfolios in order to give an objective opinion and give comprehensive recommendations.
- Understanding the investment market and formulating a successful strategy for investment growth.
- Understanding the complex medical aid products and industry.
